Elpam Electronics develops and manufactures advanced electronic products for homeland security. The major product lines include urban sirens and alarms, rescue systems for trapped people and disaster areas, metal and mine detectors, tunneling detection systems, and earthquake and tsunami warning systems.
The tunneling detection systems, installed underground, are capable of recognizing a variety of activities, such as digging, drilling, scraping, or jack-hammering, to alert security. These systems are based on geophone seismic sensors and Elpam's proprietary detection algorithms, which intelligently filter vibrations and minimize false alarms.
