Flowlit has developed an optical and noninvasive technology for highly accurate measurements of fluid flow rates in pipes while enabling simultaneous monitoring of the density and size distribution of particles in the measured flow.

The technology is based on proprietary algorithms that analyze in real time video frames recorded with a camera looking at the flow, which is illuminated by a low-power, small light source.
