H2OLL is a proprietary atmospheric-moisture-harvesting technology capable of extracting moisture from the air using an absorption-desorption cycle. The technology generates a year-long pure and safe drinking water supply with constant low energy requirements in any season, geographic area, and time of day.
H2OLL aims to provide an always-on, off-grid, robust, affordable, and reliable water service to support the poorest 10% of the population. H2OLL also strives to balance the environmental impact of consuming bottled water in developed communities.
H2OLL is a spinoff from the Technion (IIT). A proof-of-concept prototype has been built and is currently working at the Technion's Environmental Technologies Yard, producing water since 2019.
