The electronics manufacturing industry is a large consumer of water, toxic chemicals, and various materials used in subtractive processes. By replacing subtractive processes with additive technologies, there will be less material wastage. Converting to a digital technology will require less and often no water or toxic chemicals. This will enable much of the industry to be on-shored.
The high speed of ioTech's technology will also mean fewer production machines need to be used, resulting in a smaller footprint, fewer operators, and reduced handling costs.
