Kiinns has developed a technology that completely eliminates food production line cleaning processes, which are a known source of both foodborne illnesses and environmental harm.
The company's solution uses an autonomous robotic system to coat the surface of food processing equipment with a specially developed polymer, isolating it from coming into contact with the processed food.
Before a food processing cycle begins, the robotic system will approach the specific processing equipment, scan and acquire the equipment's geometry, and then apply Kiinns' biodegradable isolating polymer by spraying it directly on the surface of the equipment. When the food processing cycle is complete, the liner is instantly and automatically removed and biodegraded, and the equipment stays completely clean.
Kiinns's solution is designed to prevent foodborne illnesses, save lives, and make the environment cleaner and safer while also dramatically cutting costs for food producers.
