Linguistic Agents has developed a distributed natural-language processing platform centered around deep reinforcement learning, with special attention given to advanced research in theoretical linguistics. The companys goal is to provide subscribers with continuously updated access to the its actively evolving multipurpose language models.

In February 2018, Linguistic Agents announced the launch of a new platform for the training of deep reinforcement learning agents. The platform is designed to keep AI developers from having to become linguistics experts. In order to use the platform, reinforcement learning agents should be familiar with standardized language-oriented features before starting the process of training in their respective areas of specialization.

After achieving proficiency in their particular field of expertise linguistically, initiated robots can then return for acquisition of additional natural-language skills. In other words, they may from time to time enhance their linguistic capabilities by receiving upgraded language models and training with an updated version.
