M.M.A. Tech develops biomaterial applications for orthopedic and dental implants and devices that entail biocompatible, wear-resistant polymers for bone implants or bulk orthopedic implants. The companys products also include dental implants, spine spacers, and trauma nails.
M.M.A. Tech has developed an acetabular liner for hip replacement arthroplasty procedures made of polyimide MP-1 to overcome the longevity problems often encountered by patients who have undergone total arthroplasty hip surgery. The MP-1 technology provides a safer alternative to polymer, ceramic, or metal implants.
The companys end users include companies producing orthopedic implants, private doctors, medical facilities, hospitals, surgical facilities, and veterinary companies. M.M.A. Tech received CE mark and ISO approval in 2011.
