NitroFix is on a mission to reduce the global carbon footprint. The company has developed a method for producing ammonia.
The company’s production method, which emits zero CO2, is based on an electrochemical reaction and is facilitated by a novel catalyst. The process uses nitrogen and water as reactants and is performed under ambient conditions with low overpotentials. It can be performed in small, medium, or large facilities using renewable energy.

Current ammonia production emits 450 Mton of CO2 and uses fossil fuels as a hydrogen source. With NitroFix's green ammonia production, which reduces the need for energy by creating ammonia from an electrochemical reaction of water and air at low voltage, there will be a 0.5-gigaton emissions reduction. NitroFix's process has no carbon footprint and is activated by renewable energy.
