Oryx Vision develops a light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensor that meets all of the key requirements of autonomous vehicles: high performance, car durability, and low price.
Based on innovative light-sensing antennas, the company's LiDAR is a coherent (FMCW) flash system with no moving parts that is as simple as a digital camera. It is a million times more sensitive than other systems, resistant to interference from the sun and other LiDARs, and produces both range and velocity data for every point in its field of view.
Based in Israel, Oryx is backed by international blue chip investors.
