The company has secured its first commercial agreement for two of its over-the-counter products: PP-110 for hemorrhoids and PP-120 for anal itching. PP-110 is based on known and approved active ingredients (pramoxine HCl 1% and phenylephrine 0.25%), similar to other leading brands. Because of its delivery mechanism, PP-110 has a long-lasting effect, which was proven in a randomized clinical trial. Participants who used PP-110 gel once a day reported better results with respect to pain, itching, and bleeding compared to other participants who used a comparable drug with the same active ingredients three to four times per day.
