Rplace is the developer of a constructed wetlands performance and impact management (monitoring, reporting, and verification) platform. The platform collects, analyzes, and processes data in the most automated, efficient, and reliable way from the constructed wetlands and then translates it into carbon certification, water standard regulation, and useful information for future developments.
The Rplace platform connects constructed wetlands projects to the carbon credit market in order to financially support their long-term viability and incentivize their establishment while also proving their effectiveness as a leading nature-based wastewater technology, making a meaningful contribution to solving the climate, water, and biodiversity crises.
Rplace’s real-time, on-the ground, science-based, high-impact platform brings constructed wetlands projects to life, helping to ensure the highest and longest economic value.

Rplace Climate Tech relevance
Untreated wastewater emits three times more greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions than treated wastewater. Wastewater treatment plants themselves are responsible for approximately 3% of global GHG emissions.
Constructed wetlands provide an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional wastewater treatment plants. Constructed wetlands have low GHG emissions with minimal/no use of energy and chemicals. Rplace provides impact and performance measurements, reports, and verification for ecological wastewater treatment solutions like constructed wetlands.
By 2030, Rplace estimates that it will have 100 million CO2e tons avoided and removed.
