Seed-X develops machine vision technology with customized deep learning algorithms for seed breeding and production cycles. Its genetic trait detection platform is designed to identify the genetic traits of seeds and crops based on their phenotypic features.
Seed-X offers breeders the ability to detect genetic traits from the phenotypic appearance of a seed, including resistance to viruses, male infertility, and fruit and grain color, size, and quality. This information can help reduce breeding time, increase the probability of achieving breeding targets, and reduce research costs. The ability to detect genetic purity also facilitates IP protection.
