Shalag Nonwovens manufactures absorbent materials for diapers, feminine hygiene products, and adult incontinence undergarments. The company uses a wide range of product weights (from 10 to 120 grams), including many different types of fibers. Its blends are made with fibers such as PE/PP, PE/PET, PP/PET Bico fibers, natural absorbent fibers, and biodegradable fibers.
Shalag has developed a number of proprietary manufacturing processes to improve the quality of its products and the efficiency of its operation, such as its one-stage process for slitting and winding rolls, which helps produce stronger nonwoven materials.
In addition to its hygiene products, Shalag produces all-purpose, medical, and industrial wipes.
