Shanzy addresses a very common problem of untrained or partially trained dogs, which causes stress and discomfort to the dog owners, propery damage, and the tragic return of 20% of adopted dogs to shelters.
Shanzy develops an AI-powered dog wearable that autonomously trains dogs and prevents indoor damage caused by the dog when left unattended.
Shanzy's system includes a proprietary AI model and a lightweight dog harness with simple sensors that detect the dog’s actions and position in real-time, and delivers instant feedback when the dog commits a prohibited action (“foul”), such as chewing furniture, defecating/urinating, jumping on tables, etc. The system also gives positive feedback to the dog when it behaves desirably.
Shanzy conducted a POC that shows how our basic AI model can detect 10 different dog positions and actions, in real-time, with no camera! Shanzy has a prototype ready and we started to collect data from all type of dogs' breeds and sizes.
Shanzy was granted by the Israeli Innovation Authority and got its first pre-seed investment from Prota Ventures - a US-based early-stage VC.
Shanzy conducted a demand test and collected1200 distinct users who gave their emails asking to be part of the company's early adopter community with an impressive cost per lead, which indicates the massive pain point with an incredibly strong demand for such a product.
