Sofwave is the developer of synchronous ultrasound parallel beam (SUPERB) technology, in which ultrasound energy passes precisely through the epidermis (the skin's surface layer) and heats the mid-dermal tissue at the exact depth and temperature to rejuvenate collagen fibers and improve the overall appearance of the skin.

Sofwave is FDA cleared and clinically proven to remodel collagen, which improves facial lines and wrinkles and lifts the eyebrows, submental, and neck area. Sofwave also received FDA clearance for improving the appearance of cellulite and for treating acne scars. The technology is comfortably delivered with minimal downtime in a single 30- to 45-minute treatment, regardless of skin type.

Sofwave has received FDA clearance for its Precise compact SUPERB applicator to improve facial lines and wrinkles, lift the eyebrow, and lift lax submental (beneath the chin) and neck tissue, which can also affect the appearance of lax tissue in the submental and neck regions. The Precise applicator is an addition to the existing Lift applicator with an array of seven ultrasonic transducers (the Precise applicator has three transducers) that emit continuous acoustic waves and an active cooling element that is used to cool the skin area in contact with the applicator's transducers.
