SolarBead is developing the InverBead, a smart microinverter suitable for rooftops and small or medium-sized power plants. The InverBead is based on patented algorithms that improve system performance and enhance energy harvesting, especially in cases of partial shading, degradation of module performance, or rapid alternation of solar radiation. The InverBead offers low installation and integration costs, instantaneous power-factor correction, and a lifetime warranty.

SolarBeads first prototype has been tested and operated in a large-scale pilot to demonstrate its advantages. Its second prototype is smaller and lighter than the first and has additional features, including bidirectional communication, an adaptive threshold, automatic power-factor correction, and more. SolarBead is currently heading toward the final product development stage: productization and certification.
