VisiDome is developing an add-on accommodative intraocular lens (IOL) that restores cataract patients ability to focus clearly on objects at any distance, eliminating the need for glasses after cataract surgery.

The companys IOL harnesses the strength of the ciliary muscle combined with efficient shape-changing optics, guaranteeing a large magnitude of accommodation for a wide and sufficient range of clear vision.

The company was founded in the Misgav Incubator. The IOL underwent successful preclinical trials toward first-in-human use.
