WhosYourGuest (WYG) is a worldwide network where accommodation providers can share information about their guests, giving other users advance knowledge about guests before they arrive. As a result, establishments can reward guests who have positive reviews or take measures to protect themselves against guests with a problematic history.
The WYG platform enables providers to share information about issues such as disrespecting staff or other guests, disregarding an establishment's rules, smoking in rooms, having unauthorized guests, leaving without pay, theft, use of illegal substances, leaving unfair or damaging reviews, or being a no-show.
When doing business with guests flagged by the WYG platform, accommodation providers can take a variety of measures to prevent or avoid damages to their property and the reputation of the establishment, including advance payment, security deposits, higher room prices in light of the increased risk, or even denial of service.
