Unlike electrochemical storage solutions, YAFA Technologies solution is equally applicable to storing and recovering both thermal and electric energy.
In addition, the company is currently collaborating with European partners to develop new product solutions derived from its proprietary technology for use in eMobility applications, including Compressed Air Range Extender (CARE) for hybrid and electric vehicles

One of the key problems with renewable power sources is that they are intermittent, meaning that less climate-friendly energy sources, such as fossil fuels, often have to be relied upon when they cannot provide reliable energy. YAFA Technologies has developed micro-grid scale compressed/liquid air energy storage which can provide 24/7 clean and renewable energy, and which also has a long lifetime (25+ years) and can be stored for long periods of time, making it a viable and affordable alternative to fossil fuels.
