BMC Software Inc is an American multinational information technology services and consulting, and Enterprise Software company based in Houston, Texas. It provides software solutions for service management, automation, operations, and cybersecurity. BMC's customers include 86% of the Forbes Global 50.

BMC's software products are used by businesses of all sizes to manage their IT infrastructure and services. The company's flagship product is BMC Helix ITSM, which is a suite of tools for managing IT service tickets, incidents, and changes. BMC Software Israel was founded in 1983 as 4th Dimension. In 2000, BMC opened a new development site, and in 2006 BMC Software developed the Agile Software, an agentless and hybrid technology. BMC Software Israel supports customers worldwide.

The Tel Aviv center is responsible for developing some of BMC's most important products, including its Control-M workload automation solution and its TrueSight IT monitoring and management platform.
