In 2013, PTC acquired the Israeli database analysis company, Enigma. The addition of Enigma helped PTC to expand the ability of PTC to provide its customers with a complete solution for managing their products' lifecycles.

As PTC emerge to the IoT (Internet of Things) and became the market leader, PTC Israel established IoT Labs where the employees develop new technologies and solutions.

PTC also sponsors the start-up accelerator MassChallenge in Israel.
