Sage Israel R&D center was founded in Tel Aviv in 2018 with the acquisition of the startup Budgeta. The Israeli team develops a financial planning and analysis platform that revolutionizes the decision-making process in Finance teams of mid-size companies around the globe.
In 2021, Sage acquired another Israeli startup called TaskSheriff in order to further strengthen Sages AI-enabled technology, with the TaskSheriff founders joining Sage AI Labs, a global team of AI engineers, product managers and data scientists based in San Francisco, Melbourne, Barcelona and Tel Aviv.

Sage Israel R&D center became the first company in Israel to announce a 4-day workweek with the same pay and conditions in February 2022.
