50:50 Startups is a tech program for Arab and Jewish co-founders. 50:50 Startups is an 8-month entrepreneurship program where Israelis and Palestinians come together to co-found tech startups that are owned 50:50 by Jews and Arabs. The aim is not only to create successful startups, but also the basis for mutual trust across cultures. Through the program, participants will receive mentorship and support from top Israeli and international firms such as Amazon, Google and Microsoft, and pitch for a chance to receive grants and investment up to $50,000. Top startups will also be sponsored for a 6-week entrepreneurship bootcamp in Northeastern University, Boston, USA. Participants will meet once a week for entrepreneurship sessions at Azrieli College for engineering, in Jerusalem. The best teams will be selected to attend a summer entrepreneurship program at Northeastern University in Boston, with expenses paid by the generous contribution of 50:50 Startups supporters. When the teams return to Israel/the West Bank/Jerusalem they continue to develop their startups with the support of an acceleration program at selected partners, including Microsoft for Startups; Google for Startups; AtoBe; Takwin; The Hybrid; Joy Ventures, and Nielsen Innovate.
