Yazam BaLev is a new accelerator program designed for Haredi/Dati entrepreneurs at the Jerusalem College of Technology (JCT). The program will provide Haredi/Dati entrepreneurs with the tools they need to develop their ideas and transform them into viable products and start-up companies. The programwill also introduce them to executives and investors from the high-tech community in order to help them launch, fund, and grow their start-ups.
Applicants who are accepted into the program will participate in a structured, four-month program led by high-tech industry leaders which will guide them through the process of launching their companies and raising investments. Participants will receive hands-on mentorship, regularly meet with the top executives and investors from the high-tech community in Israel, and receive exposure and assistance in launching their start-ups.
The accelerator may make small cash investments into select start-ups participating in the program. Upon applying to the accelerator, entrepreneurs will agree that the accelerator will receive a small equity stake in their ventures if they graduate from the accelerator.
