Carebox intends to make it as easy as possible for consumers to collect and organize their medical records which are scattered across doctors, hospitals, clinics, labs, pharmacies, etc. In the Carebox business model, trusted healthcare service providers, payers, and other stakeholders "sponsor" Carebox for their members/consumers/patients in exchange for access to the data they need to provide higher quality and more cost-effective care and associated operations, and to advance clinical research and other healthcare agendas. Prior to Carebox... In 2013, I launched the CDA PRO web site to help advance the cause of healthcare document interoperability in alignment with US Government "Meaningful Use" mandates.
