    In his two-decades at Sony, Tony worked in corporate finance and the consumer electronics business prior to joining the Corporate Alliances and Investments team where he has been instrumental in many strategic business development and incubation activities, supporting Sony’s semiconductor division and gaming- related initiatives. Tony has worked on tech deals between innovative startups in EMEA and Japan, including joint ventures, investments, M&A and carve-outs and ranging from a few hundred thousand USD to hundreds of millions of USD. He has been a part of Sony Ventures since its inception in 2016 and more recently led investments in Deeptech, Enterprise, Gaming / Entertainment tech companies and Climate tech and as well as orchestrating the spin-off from Sony and syndicating its funding round. Driven by curiosity and a strong spirit of execution, Tony is a key member of Sony Ventures EMEA.
