Dudi Peles

In 2004 I founded Jivy Group with 2 friends. Since then, I have led business development and product management for a variety of game related startups while teaching about video games in various educations institutes. Currently I am leading Makeree a startup that enable anyone to learn how to create things like: crafts, robotics or arts - online. Partnering with top retailers and educators, Makeree offers structured courses, feedback from experts and peers, and all the supplies users need. For the first time ever people can learn how to create almost anything in an accessible and affordable way. I lectures about innovation and video games at Recanati Business School in Tel Aviv University, at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya and at Kibbutzim College of Education. In addition, Im an active member and co-founder of two NGOs: GameIS, the digital games industry association in Israel, and Games for Peace, which utilizes commercial video games in order increase dialog in conflict zones. I also hold a PhD in Science, Technology & Society from Bar Ilan University.
