Alex Libman

I have always had the same passion, to take an idea and give it life. I grew up in a colorfully diverse neighborhood, Over time, I have absorbed bits of culture from those who immigrated during one of the coolest decades, the 90s. Between 2000 and 2006, I was studying simultaneously at High School and the School for the intellectually gifted. During High School, My intellectual curiosity led me to combine the studies of Law, Physics and Music. Of those, Music has remained a constant presence in my life. In 2007 I started working as a sound engineer at the Yellow Submarine Music Center, it's a bit unfair to name it as a "workplace" The truth is that it is way more than that. In 2009 i have completed my service in the army and between 2010-2014 I studied B.Sc (Electrical and Computer Engineering combined with Applied Physics) at the Hebrew University. As a student, in 2011, I started a company that provides sound recording and Music services. The company provided the aforementioned services to festivals and various artists. In 2015 I founded NUA Robotics, a startup which tranforms people's belongings into smart autonomous robots. NUA's story begins at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's computer and electrical engineering faculty, followed by 4 months in the Siftech Startup Accelerator, where we gained experience in marketing, design, and financials while building our professional network. As we graduated from Siftech we had the honor to become the first Israeli company to be accepted to the prestigious HAX Program - the worlds best hardware-startup incubator in Shenzhen and San Francisco, where we learned about lean-hardware while building our Design For Manufacturing prototype.
