ItnPlan is a travel planning tool that provides a quick and easy way to generate an optimal customized trip plan beyond the legacy plan consisting of: Flight>Hotel Booking>Car. The generated plan takes all relevant constrains (e.g. budgetary, pricing, distances, weather, opening time, etc.) into consideration. ItnPlan consists of a server, web based interface and mobile/tablet app that work together. Our state of the art algorithm enables to manage multi criteria and multi objectives problems simultaneously, with respect to set of complex constrains. Among the main objective functions we consider: -minimizing total trip length including both walking and usage of public transport. -minimizing total cost incurring in purchasing tickets, meals and -maximizing the total satisfaction from the trip by reducing the amount of monotonous days (for example, visiting all museums in one day). In turn, we define 3 types of constrains: A) Physical including the complex scheme of operating hours of sites, transportation schedule, etc'. B) Logical define the sequence of sites to visit C) Customer reference to customer preferences (for example, traveller desires to return o the hotel no later than 20:00). The ItnPlan engine provides with the best fitted itinerary to the travellers requirements in a quick and user friendly manner. The engine allows the traveller to continue change and modify the plan according to different constrains that may arise later on.
