Matan Protter

I am currently the CTO of Infinity Augmented Reality. We are developing a platform for augmented reality, relying on simple, cheap and low-power consuming 2D cameras to cater to every augmented reality sensing need. We are working with cutting edge computer vision and mapping algorithms to finally fulfill the promise of augmented reality on wearable devices. About me: I am an expert in the areas of Computer Vision, Image Processing, and machine learning. I have a PhD from the Technion (Haifa, Israel 2011), and over 10 years of industry experience in developing and leading development teams, in various industries: defense, mobile, medical and more. I am drawn to startups - I'm already in my second startup. I love the ability to disrupt and make new things come to life. I consider my two strongest skills to be getting things done and learning quickly. I have a long history of getting projects up and running, some starting with only a vague idea. I have a tendency to be able to come up with innovative solutions, usually "borrowing" concepts and ideas from seemingly unrelated fields. This is why I am always looking to learn more and am able to quickly dive into new and diverse fields.
