One in three parents is afraid that something may happen to their child in the rear-facing car seat while they are not looking. To address this concern Caring Eye Inc. is developing a multi-sensor device that allows drivers to monitor children in rear-facing car seats and receive alerts whenever the child is at risk of suffocation or was left in the car unattended. Not only CaringEye camera reduces distractions to the driver by allowing them to quickly and easily see a bright, close-up picture of their child in the car seat but also have a peace of mind knowing that they will be notified when the child requires their attention. CaringEye offers video streaming via private secure Wi-Fi network, on-device machine vision processing and active emergency alarm. Currently, CaringEye is the only consumer electronics device that offers both video-monitoring and active safety system functionality.
