Ariel Kahan

Ariel brings broad technology leadership experience with an emphasis on mobile services and applications. Prior to PharmPool Ariel was the CTO at Zula, a comprehensive mobile solution for team communications, which won the Audience Choice Award at TechCrunch Disrupt 2013. Earlier, following Apples release of the first iPhone SDK for developers, he has been involved with various mobile/Internet projects, focusing on hands-on iOS development. Prior to that, Ariel served as Senior VP Engineering at Vringo, amobile video-ringtone sharing community. Ariel was the founder and CEO of TieGo, a provider of push e-mailsolutions for mass-market phones with customers including two of themajor mobile operators in Israel. Before that, he served as a VP and General Manager at EarthLink responsible for developing and delivering wirelessservices including mobile email, interactive maps,locator for places and people, yellow-pages directory and instantmessaging. Ariel was the foundingVP R&D at NomadIQ, a wireless Location Based Services company acquired by OmniSky Corporation, a pioneer in mobile apps and services. Following the acquisition, he served as OmniSky's VP of Global R&D, and oversaw thedevelopment of the Oxygen wireless platform and the delivery of mobileservices for Verizon Wireless, AOL and others. Earlier he held a broad range of technology management and development positions at organizations including BackWeb Technologies, Motorola, and BRM Technologies, as well as a technological unit in the IDF.
