Data analytics in all of it forms as database management systems, compute engine, algorithms and tools are under huge disruption. The main driver for this is the open source community. Academic researchers and startups are leading the data revolution in fast pace. What is the next Spark ? Caffe? My goal is to identify, support & collaborate with the research and engineering on ns in early stage systems, algorithms and tools that will change the way the industry do analytics. I lead a collaboration with leading AI research centers to make IA first choice. Established a large network with startups and open source community, and using it to influence the Intel strategy. Established a holistic view of the AI market and connected the dots between early rising trends, risks and opportunities in order to influence Intel strategy and activities.
