Yaki Dayan

I devote most of my time to leverage the synergy between technology and education. I founded EdTech Israel late 2014 in order to contribute to the establishment and success of Israeli edtech initiatives. EdTech Israel is the professional association of all Israel's EdTech startups and companies. It is the hub that connects Israeli startups, entrepreneurs, venture capitals, international markets and business partners. My career blends international business development, academic research, educational leadership and community entrepreneurship. A pioneer in the assimilation of iPads in Israeli education (since 2011), teacher professional development trainer, and an EdTech expert. My hi-tech career included over 20 years as a marketing-oriented business executive, with proven International track record of high-level sales, business development and strategic marketing. Im engaged in informal education since 2002, primarily as a volunteer at the Israeli Scouts Association, and volunteer at various not-for-profit organizations and community projects. In 2009 I opted to transition from the hi-tech rat-race to pursue an academic degree in education. I completed the PhD in Educational Technologies from the University of Haifa. I am open to international projects that blend Education, Technology, and Leadership.
