ABOUT
Meir Arnon is an Israeli Entrepreneur, Investor and Turnaround Leader.
Arnon founded Focus Capital Group (FCG) in 1988 and currently serves as its Chairman and CEO.
Since its establishment, FCG has initiated and concluded various transactions, some by bringing Fortune 100 companies such as EDS, Frito Lay, P&G, Kimberly Clark and others to operate in Israel, and some by acquiring troubled publically traded industrial corporations in various industries such as Automotive and Auto parts, Communication Equipment, Heavy Machinery, Food, Textiles and Energy Storage, turning them around and selling them to industrial/ strategic buyers. Currently Meir Arnon serves as Chairman of Vulcan, Volta and VoltaNano.
Prior to founding FCG, Arnon served as Co- Founder and Chairman of New Dimension Software that was later sold to BMC Software.
Arnon is a founding partner of Motion Venture Partners, a US$100M venture capital focusing on Israeli start-ups in the automotive industry. Arnon is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of EcoMotion, a non for profit global interdisciplinary community of thousands of innovators and entrepreneurs engaged in Smart mobility and Alternative Fuels.
Arnon is an active member of the YPO-WPO organization, Co- Founder of the Israeli, Monaco and the Russian Chapters and champions many events worldwide. He also serves on several NGO boards.
Arnon is a father of 3+ 2 step children, holds a B.Sc. from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, an MBA from INSEAD, and is an HBS alumnus, involved behind the scenes in the Israeli politics and trains for Triathlons.
