Shachar Ron

Vc, Chief Actuary and CEO Mr. Ron Shachar Mr. Ron, holder of B.Sc. in Statistics from Haifa University and MA from the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology), is a fellow of the Israeli Actuarial Association (F.IL.A.A). Mr. Ron served as general insurance chief actuary and risk manager of Eliahu Insurance Company Ltd. (herein Eliahu) from 7/1998 until 3/2010. Prior to that, Mr. Ron served as an actuary in the Capital Markets, Insurance & Savings Division of the MOF from 1995 to 1998. In the last three years, alongside his work in Eliahu, Mr. Ron served as a Board member of the Managing Company of Compulsory Car Insurancee Pool Ltd., and a member of the Boards Audit Committee. Mr. Ron is an expert in the actuarial field in all lines of general insurance, risk management (including Solvency II) and specializes in the design, creation and implementation of actuarial, accounting and managerial information systems aimed at supporting insurance-related decision making.
