ABOUT
Ami Dror is the co-founder of Zaitoun Ventures, an hybrid VC that connects Israeli and Arab entrepreneurs while investing in Israeli startup companies. Ami is a member of the board of directors at two public companies and several private companies including Icecure medical, BSP, Audience Entertainment, The Comic Genome Project, Sidis lab and more. Prior to founding Zaitoun Ventures, Ami co-founded XPAND 3D and grew it into one of the biggest 3D companies in the world, with over 15,000 3D Cinema installations worldwide and millions of 3D consumer products sold every year via retail channels. Ami initiated the work on the first 3DTV together with Panasonic and led the formation of FHD3DTV, a licensing company, jointly owned by Sony, Samsung, XPAND and Panasonic. Ami also led the development of a medical device company - Amblyz - a totally new approach in the treatment of children amblyopia. Ami holds a BSC in computer engineering and is a member of the 2014 Class of Henry Crown Fellows at the Aspen Institute.
