I grew up in an agricultural community called a kibbutz working in the citrus groves and the juice factory of the community. As a 4th generation in the community, I worked closely with farmers since childhood, gaining first-hand experience of the agricultural business difficulties. My educational background is a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B), with specialization in corporate law, and a B.A in Economics with specialization in Finance. Today I am the CEO at Avenews-GT, synchronizing my experience and knowledge to modernize agricultural trading. Years of working in agriculture brought me to an understanding that usually the struggle of the farmer to maintain a sustainable business lies in them relying on intermediaries to sell their produce, and I know for a fact that there is a better way. I believe that creating direct trading linkages between industrial agri-buyers (retailers, manufacturers, etc.) and farmers will benefit the entire ecosystem, and this is the reason that my co-founders and I created Avenews-GT. With our approach, farmers and agri-buyers would profit, and the final food consumers, you and I, will be able to source our food and buy at just prices.
