At 2009 I founded N-SIP. N-SIP has cross-platform VoIP library in 50KB, takes 40% less battery than Skype and other VoIP and 75% less CPU. It also works on Android smart watch, dongle and STB with out modifications. The library is wrapped so it is scriptable, allowing to be deployed as a plugin (no UI, controlled by a browser). It is also the first cross-platform plugin: We have achieved a method for communication between the plugin and a browser even on Android and iOS.
I started to program when I was about 10 years old. The "PC" was a box connected to the TV, the disk was a tape recorder and the programming language was Basic. I learned by myself with booklets and also found much pleasure in dissemble the old black and white TV and the gramophone.
After graduating from university my first work was at Sky-Map. It was a small startup and we achieved to make online streaming maps running on iPAC with first generation SIM.
Shortly after Sky-Map closed I was offered to make one of the first ad apps. It ran on Nokia's 6680 smartphone and has no UI. The app started at boot, ran at the background and waited for incoming or outgoing call events. Once a call was captured it showed an ad along side with the number. From time to time it retrieved new ads from a dedicated server.
Afterwards I worked as an independent freelancer and founded V-TU. One of the most interesting projects I did was a simulation of Texas Instruments' wireless chip. I implemented the MAC layer and even TI's bugs. Using the simulation TI's validation engineers were able to increase the performance of the chip without making any hardware changes.
V-TU was about full duplex voice streaming from smartphones over Bluetooth (before smartphones had Wi-Fi). We implemented software running on the smartphone and a sound driver running on the PC enabling to divert calls to Skype (running on the PC) or to a special box that was connected to the land-line.
