Rina Naor is a gerontologist entrepreneur focused on the gerontechnology aspect of aging. She has a BA in computer science and an MA in Gerontology from the University of Haifa. With a technology background, along with her 20 years in the high-tech industry Rina worked in business development, market building, design thinking, product strategy, and more. Focused on the business side, Rina has a track record in building new markets and sales that generated over $100M. At the age of 40 she decided to focus on social impact and graduated with honor, master in Gerontology. her thesis was published in the Social and Technology journal that encourages the academic systems to teach gerontology courses in entrepreneurship and computer science departments to promote the ageTech domain. She is a pioneer in developing a unique method to embed gerontology elements into the marketing, product strategy, design, development, and training process of companies that are looking to penetrate the aging market. In the last five years, Rina worked closely with older adults, investing hundreds of hours in interviewing people to deeply understand the digital gap and the ways to overcome challenges.
