TL;DR - I love solving tough problems with creative software and have been doing so professionally for the last 16 years. I have extensive experience with virtualization, Windows internals and enterprise software. After completing my M. Sc. in Computer Science in the Technion (summa cum laude, valedictorian), I spent six years working in the Israeli Department of Defense, building and leading mission-critical software projects that won several Israel Defense Awards. Following my service, I joined the core leadership team of Wanova - an Israeli startup that invented layering-based desktop virtualization. As part of my work for Wanova, I played a major role designing and coding the product from scratch, building and leading R&D teams, shaping our agile methodologies and growing our product into widespread enterprise adoption. Following VMware's acquisition of Wanova, I continued managing our core R&D team, integrating our product with other VMware products and scaling it to ~1M seats. I later joined an elite group of senior VMware engineers to innovate next-generation solutions, combining low-level Windows technologies with VMware's core virtualization technologies. I pioneered an internal innovation group and presented in VMware's top innovation conferences, holding multiple U.S. patents. I have recently joined Team8 as an entrepreneur in residence, building the next Team8 startup named Hysolate (still in stealth mode).
