About

Tamar is the founder of Cassit Studio where for the past 8 years she has been designing and manufacturing customized products for individuals with disabilities. She is also the founder, CEO and product manager of Cassit Ltd.; R&D and mass production of innovative premium-quality medical devices for people with hand injuries. Tamar holds a Bachelor of Design degree from HIT in Israel, specialization in social and sustainable design. Tamar is an expert in design for people with disabilities, experienced in R&D of medical products, for BOP and for the elderly. She is an IDF Military Medic and a lecturer in HIT for assistive devices design and production. Tamar has experience in leading and managing teams, among them the winning team she initiated for Kimberly Clark's 2015 Accelerator for assistive technology for the elderly. She led 13 teams in the 1st TOM("Tikkun Olam Makers"), where she was the lead designer, project manager and a part of the establishing team of TOM. Tamar strives for inclusion and mutual responsibility, she strongly believes in combining social impact with profitable business model, such as providing affordable basic consumer products to all layers of the population.
