I mastered in geriatrics and rehabilitation, ergonomics, accessibility, and non healing wounds. Currently I am the chairperson of the SIG Technologies of Aging Well (Society of Electrical and Electronic Engineers in Israel). The SIG members are well known experts in care-giving, research, engineering, robotics, gerontology and geriatrics. My main concern is to promote collaboration among technology developers, policy makers, government offices, those working with the elderly population and investors, in Israel and abroad. On the past 6 years, I have been a board member of the Israel Gerontological Society, which combines the various disciplines working with the elderly population. The Israel Gerontological Society is a member of the International Organization of Gerontology and operates as a part of the European branch. Throughout the years, I have organized and served as the chairperson in local and international conferences, I was involved in writing a number of policy papers and worked to promote municipal and national programs for the welfare of the elders.
