M.D. degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv University, a Ph.D. degree in Immunology from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Within the framework of my Ph.D. work I succeeded in advancing a potential drug for the treatment of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, through in-vitro and in-vivo development. This drug was testedn Human Phase II trial by TEVA Pharmaceutical Ltd. (Nasdaq: Teva). As co-founder of a small pharmaceutical company (www.navehpharma.com), I gained experience in drug development and invented a number of medical devices. These products are currently being distributed in more than 17 countries worldwide. As a scientific consultant to a number of biotech companies and venture capitals, I acquired experience in business development including scientific and business evaluation of biotechnology projects in addition to a broad-based knowledge of the medicine and healthcare market. I am the entrepreneur of several biotechnology companies including, among others, two clinical stage companies.
